about

This is a very personal track to me (Matty). I wrote this song a few years after my friend had passed away. This song goes out to every person who has lost a loved one in their lives. Stay strong, keep your head up, and know that I have gone exactly what you have been through. I love you all.

lyrics

I've been hiding between the panels, a place where I cannot be heard or seen. Hands caressing the base of the clouds, reaching for serenity. Hoping for our hands to intertwine and create the illusion of symmetry. You mean so much to me. You're the anchor that holds me here, yet you're the waves that pull me away. The drowning sensation and the scenery relieves me from the portraits. I hope my actions scar the world to permanently remind them of the true meaning of home. The true meaning of hope. I lost a piece of hope not long ago and it was the foundation of my home. The building crumbled; felt dead inside. The scenery burnt, the scenery dry. Then a breeze followed by a light rain was enough to hope to see each other again. Storms are playing symphonies, we are just dancers in the rain. And we will dance forever. So let's set the stage, write a new page, give all hope we can to the new age. Let's set the fucking stage. The stories will live on as long as the poets remain. A legend never dies. Storms are playing symphonies, we are just dancers in the rain. Let it pour. Pick your feet up. Never lose that drive for salvation. Pick your feet up and keep your head high. You're like a brother to me. You were like a brother to me and I will treat you like family. You'll have a place in my heart for eternity. We create the illusion of symmetry.
